Kieran Altieri began his career as a summer law clerk in 2003. He focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance coverage, and appeals. He deals with all aspects of insurance coverage disputes, from initial claim handling to appeals, particularly with respect to commercial general liability policies and environmental coverage issues. Kieran has also handled an array of commercial contract disputes, from steel trade battles to board and nail cases.
He has also spent a significant portion of his career working on land use matters - particularly variance and special exception applications, governmental taking and eminent domain disputes. Kieran has worked on a number of cases involving lawyers’ professional responsibility matters at the state and federal trial courts as well as the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Kieran is also available to lend his experience assisting individuals and businesses through the legal and other aspects of crises posed by substance use disorders and mental health challenges.
He has worked on both sides of many areas — e.g., for both landowner applicants and municipalities, as well as policyholders and insurers — giving him a unique perspective of cases. Kieran takes pride in honing in carefully on the details of a representative matter while never losing sight of the big picture that will make a difference to his clients, judges and juries.
Kieran lives in Londonderry, New Hampshire with his wife, Sara, and three children. He is a parishioner of Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish, and an assistant coach of the Nashua High School (North and South) Varsity Hockey Team.
